There is a rumour circulating that Chevrolet is planning to release a remake of the 1957 Chevy Belair, considered to be "the most Classic car of all time". We've already seen remakes like the Plymouth Prowler and the PT Cruiser, so it seems only natural that they eventually make a remake of the '57 Chevy.
Well, next year is 2007, the 50th Anniversary of the release of the '57 Chevy. What better year to do it in?
If they are planning a remake, Chevy is being pretty quiet about it. Probably a good strategy too, but myself I think they should be letting the news out more news out and stoking interest in the newer version.
If it is coming out, I'd like to put my name on a waiting list. I'd like a black two door convertible please!
