Charles Alexander Moffat is an artist, a writer and a historian. He has written 4 novels, numerous short stories and a huge number of articles for the Lilith eZine. A founding partner of the Lilith eZine and Lilith Gallery, Moffat divides his time between work, writing and art. He has over one hundred paintings shown on the Lilith Gallery, as well as photographic work and video art.

His artworks are shown around the world and (small surprise) sell for thousands of dollars. His most famous art piece is "United States Censorship", which has appeared in an American documentary on censorship.

Born in March 1979, Moffat seeks to do more with his life. When not travelling around the world he focuses his efforts on improving society through art and writing. He believes that artists and writers have a moral obligation to improve upon society rather than just glorifying sex and violence.

He describes himself as "an adrenaline junkie for painting and writing", stating that the act of writing/painting gives him an adrenaline high. His favourite Canadian artists are Joyce Wieland and Bertram Brooker and he believes that Canadians too often don't know enough about Canadian artists and that "the vast majority of Canadians are ignorant of how many great Canadian artists are out there to appreciate".

For that reason, Moffat also started The Art History Archive website in January 2007, an educational tool for high school and university students in the hopes of educating young people about art.
