Angel of Bliss
By Charles Moffat
I danced the tango with an angel on a saturday night She had the devil in her eyes as she held me tight And a mischievious grin on her lips She danced like fire and whispered ambrosia I breathed upon her coals as she came with me into the darkness Holding my hand and lighting my heart I want to weep and laugh, hold and caress And in the end I fell asleep A smile on my lips And a fiery warmth in my heart What sweet bliss it is To fall in love with an angel
Falling Roses
Roses falling from the heavens A lover's kiss and a foe's sigh All remains yet to be known As darkness sets in I await my lover's embrace She holds me as stars alight My heart beats madly Yet I am content, for I am Happiest when she is happy A caress that warms my soul And lights my eyes with fire I know where I belong... |
