Juxtaposed
By Charles Moffat
Opposites attract Fit like puzzle pieces A rendezvous at a place called love Where two halfs Make a whole Why is it then That is this not true for me? My strong will, my courage Desires another, a duplicate Someone equal in will, courage All I can get is submissives Weakwilled lovers that I can't love Simpleminded drones in a row And not one brain among them Am I a fool for believing? Believing there is someone for me? Perhaps I should look for other fools
Lost Wisdom Vs. Love
A fool's luck is a philosopher's curse If we were all fools, we'd all die old and stupid 'twould be a blessing to die young Yet wise in your ways Yet there are those old wise ones Who were once foolish in their brash youth They're losing their bearings Sinility is a killer of wisdom What is left? There is only one reason to grow old: Love To grow old with someone, A friend A partner A lover |
