Shivering
By Charles Moffat

There is no warmth within my body
Only a seeping coldness from without
Being without love
A loneliness that borders on dispair
A blackness that churns around me
So cold, so cold
I have cried out in my sleep
Complaining of the cold
Shivering in my dreams
What I would give to have a body next to mine
Bodywarmth to warm my cold sides
A tender kiss upon my cheek
An embrace and a good night's sleep
Warm thoughts
Pleasant thoughts
But I am still cold
Shivering and lonely

Passion for the Poor
By Charles Moffat

Spare change Miss?
A little kiss for my poor cheek?
How about a smack across the face?
Anything will do.
Its better than nothing.
A hug, a smile, a wink.
A pat, a nudge, a kiss.
A little passion goes a long way.
